I step out of the car and breath in the cleanest air ever to enter my lungs. Yellowstone! My Grandfather had stated multiple times that Yellowstone was the crown jewel of America, and goodness, he was right! I can instantly smell the sweet scent of pine that has laced the air and it is a brisk 50 degrees in the middle of July. This is where I feel the most alive! My grandfather and I start walking down one of the trails close to where we parked. There is a sign that has some information on it about the surrounding area. “Don’t read the propaganda!” Jokes my grandfather. He isn’t a fan of the park rangers around there and especially doesn't like all the signs that are around the park that tell “heroic” stories, glorifying the rangers. No, he and myself would much rather soak in the beauty that is Yellowstone and take in all that it has to offer.

Too Much Caffeine
Ijumpandleapoutofthecarandamsoexcitedtobehere!!!! Ibreathalltheairanditissoclean!!! Yellowstone! Ohmygoodness, ohmygoodness, ohmygoodness, My grandfather said this was the crown jewel of America!!!! AND. HE. WAS, RIGHT. I smellsmellsmell the air and it’s so sweet and it is cold and I feel alive and we walked to a trail and we saw a sign!!! “Don’t read the propaganda”, says my grandfather but he is just saying that because he doesn't like the park rangers because they are stupid and he doesn't like them. We would much rather run around the park like wild animals and have fun and swim and see Old Faithful and all the mud pots and have fun and I think I had too much coffee.
Reversed
The beauty of Yellowstone is something that that my grandfather and I would much rather soak in. There are signs telling “heroic” stores about the park rangers but my grandfather isn’t a fan of them. “Don’t read the propaganda!”, jokes my grandfather. The sign has some information on it that pertains to the trail we are walking on. This is where I feel most alive! I can feel the 50 degree weather, even though it is July, and instantly smell the sweet smell of the pine trees that lace the air. My Grandfather always stated that Yellowstone is the crown jewel of America and, goodness, he was right! Yellowstone! I breath in the cleanest breath of air I have ever breathed and then step from the car.
Body
I place my toes and feet onto the ground and inhale air into my mouth and into my lungs. Yellowstone! My Grandfather used his larynx to create vibrations and bent the air with his lips and tongue to tell me once that this was the crown jewel of America, and goodness, he was right! Tiny microscopic particles come off the pine trees and are caught by the hairs in my nose and send signals to my brain that create serotonin and feelings of pleasure, and I also feel goosebumps on my skin and start to shiver a bit as I feel the unusually cold air. Feeling of pleasure rushes again across my brain and down my spinal cord and allow me to feel “alive”. We start to take steps with our hamstrings, and calfs, our tibia, fibula and femur. “Don’t use your lens, pupil, iris, and ocular muscles to send signals down the optic nerve and read the Propaganda”, jokes my grandfather. His prefrontal cortex has led him to determine that park rangers are something he isn't a fan of. No, he and myself would much rather spend our time allowing all of our senses get taken over by the beauty that is Yellowstone.
Eeyore
I got out the car and stub my toe again…. *sigh* Yellowstone. My grandfather always said it was the crown jewel of America but I don’t see what the big deal is. The smell of pine needles makes my allergies act up and its cold outside…. I feel dead inside. My grandfather and I trudge along toward the pitiful trail leading into the woods. There is a sign with warnings not to go near bears, looks like I might die today…. “Don’t read the propaganda”, jests my grandfather. Too late, I already did… He doesn't like the stories of the park rangers on the sign, but all I read is I might die. He loves to enjoy the scenery that Yellowstone offers but I just don’t see the point; it will all burn up one day anyway…
Colors
I step out of the white car onto the brown dirt and breath into my pink lungs the cleanest air I have ever breathed. Yellowstone! My old tan grandfather always said Yellowstone was the golden crown jewel of the “Red White and Blue” and he was right! I can instantly smell the sweet scent of green pine needles that has laced the blue sky, and it is as cold as teal ice outside even though it is in the red hot month of July. This is when I feel the most alive! My grandfather and I start walking down the chestnut trail surrounded by greenery and small burgundy woodland creatures. There is a bright chocolate colored sign that has all the details of the area in coral lettering. “Don’t read that dark propaganda!”, jokes my grandfather. He isn't a fan of the ebony clothed rangers and their “heroic” deeds. No, he and myself would much rather be surrounded by the colors of all the scenery.
Hyperbole
I charge out of my car like an angry elephant and suck in air for 5 minutes straight because it was so clean. Yellowstone! My grandfather told me a million times that Yellowstone was the crown jewel of America and goodness, he was right! I can smell the air and it smells of a thousand cakes baking in an old fashioned bakery, and it is as cold as Pluto’s moon even though it was just July. This is where I feel the most alive! My grandfather and I are walking down a trail and he screams, “DON’T READ THE PROPAGANDA!!!!” He absolutely hates the park rangers with a fiery passion and hopes they die in a forest fire. No, he and I would much rather just enjoy the most beautiful place ever to exist and the nature it brings.
Football Announcer
Jim- “Isaac Evans steps out of the car and breaths his way to a 1st down. This is his first game here in Yellowstone. His coach, also his grandfather, keeps bragging on his new rookie. Its a brisk 50 degrees here, cold for the month of July. Isaac throws an ugly pass toward a trail through the pine trees.”
Chris- “You know, Jim, I interviewed Isaac before the game and he said that standing here in Yellowstone is where he feels most alive, and I don't blame him! The ball is snapped and Isaac runs it yet again, they seem to be running the “Don’t read the propaganda" offense.”
Jim- “Yeah Chris, his grandfather prefers that offense to the more “heroic” offense of the home team, the Park Rangers.”
Chris- “This game is going to be as beautiful as the scenery around it!”
Teenager
I step reluctantly out of the car and take a deep breath. Yellowstone…. My Grandpa decided it was a great idea to drag me to what he calls the “crown jewel” of America, but I, like, don’t see what the big deal is. The air smells like a car freshener and it is freezing. I soooooooo do not want to me here. All I want is some free wifi and a bed because that is, like, totally my version of the crown jewel of America. “Don’t read the propaganda!”, jokes Grandpa, he thinks he is soooooo funny but his jokes never are. I throw in some headphones to zone everything out, I would totally rather listen to Green Day than hear another one of his lame jokes! Ugh!
Western
I jump off my horse and inhale some dust that is lingering in the air. Yellowstone! I had heard from my grandfather, the sheriff, that this place was a dangerous place, where the famous outlaw “Parker the Ranger” kept his crown jewel. I hope to find this so called crown jewel here! I see him appear out of thin air. I grasp my Remington Model 1875 shotgun with two hands. This is when I feel most alive! The cold air stings my lungs and my mouth starts to taste the blood that is going to be unavoidably drawn. My horse starts to trot toward me and whines. He knows what is about to happen too. “Don't listen to any of that sheriff’s damn propaganda!”, shouts Parker the Ranger with spit flying out and waving his Spencer Repeater through the air. He isn't a fan of what the sheriff has been saying about him. He, and myself, both know what my grandfather had said.
Green Party
I step out of the hybrid and breath in the air and could sense nearby there was some careless trash near by. Yellowstone! I can’t believe that us filthy humans think we have the right to pave roads and declare a piece of nature our “possession”. It is a brisk 50 degrees but that isn't going to stop me and my extremely liberal grandfather from protesting to save the Earth. It is when I am protesting that I feel the most alive! My grandfather and I are walking toward a large pine tree with chains in our hands, ready to chain ourselves to the trees. “Save the planet, kill yourself!”, Jokes my grandfather. He isn't a fan of all the planet destroying, ignorant “humans” that roam this wonderful piece of Earth. No he, and myself, both would much rather become nature and and leave this materialistic, discussing piece of humanity behind.
