Car accidents, due to drivers
speeding to get to work on time, have tripled in number since 2000. Research
shows that today’s drivers fail to wake in time because they stay up too late
watching Netflix or scrolling through various social media platforms. Due to
the progressive nature of living in the year 2016, workplaces should not
require employees to arrive at a specific time. When people have to make an
effort to arrive at a place at a prefixed time, they are ten times more likely
to break speed limit laws. For example, a young man named Jack Ash died in a
horrific car accident in November 2016 due to running a red light in an attempt
to get to work on time. If his workplace, Dull Lull Corp, had not had a set
time for workers to be at work, then Jack Ash would undoubtedly be alive today.
Therefore, all employers should let their employees come to work at any time so
that car accident deaths can decrease.
