Complaint Letter:
Dear
President Oldham,
My
name is Leah Derryberry and I’m currently a senior here at Tennessee Tech. I am
writing in regards of a student of yours that approaches me on a daily basis. I
believe his name is S.J. and he is very short and has awful looking black hair,
which appears to be unwashed most of the time. I usually come to the library in
the mornings to do homework and every day the same, strange man follows me to
my seat and gives me weird compliments such as, “You have very beautiful face.”
He also continues to stare and me while I’m doing my work and I refuse to
tolerate this nonsense any longer. I have gone to campus security multiple
times to file a complaint about this foreign, creepy man and they have only
given him a warning. I am so sick of paying thousands of dollars in tuition
just to be paranoid every time I step foot in the library to do what I’m
supposed to do. If you could please propose a stricter policy on invading people’s
personal space on campus, that would be great. Or maybe you could accept a smaller
amount of students who have less interest in stalking young females, and more
interest in getting a college degree. I will not stop complaining until something
is done about this horrifying situation.
Sincerely,
Leah
Derryberry
