News Article

Amid all of the media attention surrounding this historic election, two former presidents found themselves in complete silence on Election Night. NewsSource has learned from officials close to Bill Clinton and George Bush that a call between the two occurred just as the election results took a tragic turn for the Clinton camp. We have learned that George initiated the call solely with laughter and then attempted to comfort Bill by telling him how it feels to lose a race for the presidency. Sources also stated that Bill was hostile toward Mr. Bush during the beginning of the call for his laughter, but he soon calmed as he realized the election was already lost. Other news agencies have reported that both men have looked into stopping their dues payments to the “Presidents Club,” a prestigious club with only six living members. NewsSource reached out to both men for comment. Neither president has responded to our inquiries.
